Class Descriptions
Our classes are held at a range of temperatures, noted in the class name on the class schedule →. We use infrared heaters, which heat your body from the inside out rather than warming the air around you. Infrared heat can offer a range of benefits, including detoxification, pain relief, reduced muscle tension, relaxation, improved circulation, weight management, and skin purification.
Unheated: below 80°F
Warm: 85–90°F
Hot: above 90°F
BEACH FLOW
Take your practice outside with Coastside Yoga’s signature Beach Flow at beautiful Poplar Beach. This all-level Vinyasa class connects breath and movement through a flowing sequence of traditional yoga postures, surrounded by the sound of the waves and expansive views of the Pacific. Move, breathe, and find your balance with the ocean as your backdrop.
Take the Poplar Beach stairs down to the sand and walk south (left) toward the rock wall alcove, where your instructor will be waiting. Please allow an additional 5–10 minutes before class to pay for parking and make your way down to the beach. Please bring your own mat, towel, and water.

FOUNDATION VINYASA FLOW
Foundation Vinyasa Flow is designed to help you build a strong, confident foundation for your yoga practice. Through mindful movement and attention to breath, you’ll explore the fundamentals of alignment, balance, strength, flexibility, and the mind-body connection while learning foundational Vinyasa postures and transitions.
This class is ideal for anyone new to yoga, returning after time away, or looking to revisit and refine the basics. Move at a thoughtful pace and develop the tools you can carry into any yoga practice.
All levels are welcome. This is a great class for beginners.
FUSION CORE VINYASA FLOW
Fusion Core Vinyasa Flow blends traditional yoga postures with focused core work in a dynamic, energizing practice. This flowing class combines breath-centered movement with exercises designed to engage and strengthen the core and entire body.
Practiced in a gently heated room at approximately 90°F, this is an invigorating way to start your day with movement, music, and connection.
All levels are welcome, though this class may be challenging for beginners.
HOT 26
Hot 26 is a consistent sequence of 26 traditional yoga postures practiced in a heated room. Set to music and practiced in temperatures of approximately 97–105°F, the sequence offers a focused practice that challenges your balance, strength, flexibility, concentration, and endurance.
The consistent nature of the sequence allows you to become familiar with the postures and observe your practice evolve over time. Come ready to embrace the heat, move with intention, and challenge yourself.
All levels are welcome, though beginners should be comfortable practicing in heat.
PILATES HIIT
Pilates HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) combines the mindful, low-impact movement of Mat Pilates with short bursts of high-intensity exercise for a dynamic full-body workout. With a focus on core strength, stability, posture, and controlled movement, this class uses your body weight along with optional props such as free weights, resistance bands, fit balls, and blocks.
Expect a balanced combination of strength, conditioning, and mobility designed to leave you feeling strong, energized, and connected to your body.
All levels are welcome, though this class may be challenging for beginners.
RESTORATIVE + YIN YOGA
Restorative + Yin is a slow, deeply nourishing practice designed to quiet the body and mind and create space to turn inward.
Restorative Yoga uses supportive props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks to allow the body to settle comfortably into longer-held postures. Yin Yoga works more deeply into connective tissues through gentle, sustained stretches, with postures typically held for several minutes at a time.
Together, these practices offer an opportunity to slow down, soften, and reconnect with your breath and body. The final portion of class includes mindful meditation, creating space for stillness and reflection.
This is a wonderful practice for relaxation, restoration, and anyone seeking a slower pace.

STRENGTH & STABILITY FLOW
Strength & Stability Flow blends traditional Vinyasa with focused strength and flexibility work for a balanced, full-body practice. Set to upbeat music, optional weights are incorporated throughout the flow to build strength and stability, while longer holds and intentional alignment help develop flexibility and body awareness.
Expect precise cueing, purposeful movement, and a steady challenge for the whole body, with time to slow down and settle into Savasana at the end of class.

VINYASA FLOW
Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic, breath-centered practice that links movement and breath through a flowing sequence of postures (asanas). Set to music, each pose transitions naturally into the next, creating a practice that is both energizing and meditative.
Expect to build strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, and internal heat while cultivating greater body awareness and mental clarity.
All levels are welcome, including beginners.
VINYASA SLOW FLOW
Vinyasa Slow Flow is a slower-paced, breath-centered practice that invites you to move with intention while still building strength and awareness. Set to music, this class explores foundational Vinyasa postures and fluid transitions, allowing you to connect movement with the rhythm of your breath.
Whether you’re new to yoga, returning to your practice after some time away, or simply looking for a more spacious flow, this is a welcoming place to slow down, move well, and reconnect with your body.

YOGA SCULPT
Yoga Sculpt blends the flowing movement of yoga with strength and conditioning for a dynamic, full-body practice. Moving through a series of yoga postures in a heated room, you’ll incorporate strength-focused movements designed to build muscular endurance, stability, and strength while enhancing flexibility.
Expect an energizing, challenging practice that will leave you feeling strong, accomplished, and ready to take on your day.
