Do I need to pre-register for class?
Yes, pre-registration for class is encouraged due to our limited class size. Register via our website or the Mindbody app.

What style of yoga is offered at Coastside Yoga?
The backbone of our studio is the vast diversity of training among our instructors. We offer a wide variety of class formats ranging from traditional Vinyasa and hot yoga inspired sequencing, to Ashtanga, yoga with weights and our signature beach flow yoga class. Whether you are seasoned or just starting out, curious or just looking for a community, Coastside Yoga has something to offer you!

I’ve never done yoga before, what class should I start with?
Most of the classes offered are beginner accessible. Coastside Yoga’s Slow Flow is recommended for first timers, those returning to practice after some time off, or if you just want to take it easy and flow slow. Please let your instructor know you’re new to yoga and they will gladly assist you and reassure that you will have a successful practice.

This is my first class at Coastside Yoga, what should I bring and how should I prepare?
Wear comfortable fitted clothing that breathes.  Bring a mat, towel, water and an open mind. A towel is definitely recommended for heated classes. Eating light snacks a few hours prior to class is ideal. Practicing on a full belly can be uncomfortable!

I do not have a yoga mat or towel.  Will you provide me with these?
Due to limited space and hygiene we do not offer rental mats or towels. Please be prepared by bringing your own mat, towel, water, and any props you like to use for your practice. 

I do not have my own free weights for your class with weights.  Will you provide me with these?
Yes, Coastside Yoga offers free weights for classes that feature the optional use of weights, however, you are welcome to bring your own.

Do you have a late policy?
Due to the space and setup of our studio, and mainly out of respect for the other students, late entry is highly discouraged. For everyone’s safety, the studio door is locked promptly at class time. It is recommended to arrive fifteen (15) minutes prior to the start of class to allow enough time to check-in and settle into your space.

Do you have a changing room and a shower?
We have one (1) changing room/restroom that is available for student use. We sanitize the room after every use. We do not offer showers.

Do you have a lost and found?
When we find an item left in the studio we catalog it with the date found. If the item is not picked up after two (2) weeks from the date found, we will donate the item. Please contact Deb Heminger at deb@coastsideyoga.com if you may have left something at the studio.

Do you offer discounts for students, seniors, teachers, first responders, healthcare workers or veterans?

Can I freeze my membership?
Yes, non-autopay memberships can be frozen, but please keep the following in mind: Per our policy, we require a two week advanced notice via email. Please let us know how long you would like your membership to be paused. There is a two week minimum and a $5 fee per membership freeze. Memberships can only be frozen once per billing cycle. Please email us here if you’d like to request a freeze.

Do you offer refunds?
All sales on services such as classes, monthly unlimited memberships, specials, and class packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
